The CCR achieve a synthesis between a heritage site and an ambitious cultural and intellectual project. As a showcase for contemporary creation and a place of welcome for foreign artists and refugees in France, as well as a meeting place for artists and residents, but also for artistic disciplines, the CCR are hybrid places that contribute to the revitalization of heritage.

They gather around common issues and reflections: the valorization of heritage through artistic creation, the attention given to cultural rights, to artistic and cultural education (EAC) and to the training of artists, the local development and the link to the territory, the reception of foreign and refugee artists, the reflection around ecology and gardens.
