Born on 20 February 1983 in Parwan, Afghanistan, Aman Poyamak graduated with a degree in Political Science in 2019 in Kabul.

He began his artistic career in 2000, writing poems, stories and screenplays. He is also a television designer and programmer.

He is a member and secretary of the Persian section of the International Association of Afghan Writers.

Residency project:

Writing a book entitled La noyade du cygne dans le couteau (The Drowning of the Swan in the Knife). This book will bring together forty poems written over the last few years, several of which remain unfinished and need to be finalised. It will be exactly 80 pages long.
