Llewellyn Reichman studied acting at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Art from 2012 to 2016. During this time, she began her performative work with the group "the Family" and performed on significant platforms such as the Sinne Galerie Helsinki and the Chisenhale Gallery in London. In 2014, she was invited by curator Jeanne Graff to participate in a group exhibition at the Galerie 186f Kepler at Art Basel. From 2016 to 2019, Llewellyn was engaged at a State Theatre and also performed in Jerome Bell's "GALA" at the Wiesbaden Biennale.
In 2018, she developed her first solo performance "Orlando". Orlando was invited to several festivals in German-speaking countries, including YUP in Osnabrück, Open Studios at Atelier Frankfurt, and at the feminist Minifestival at Z Common Ground in Munich. In 2019, she received funding as a young artist from the Goethe-Institut and performed her solo piece "FOOL" in New York and, at the invitation of artist and curator Mamela Nyamza, at the Vavasati International Women’s Festival in South Africa. From 2020 to 2023, Llewellyn was engaged at the Nuremberg State Theatre.
Llewellyn developed sound installations for projects such as the exhibition film "5,000 Years of Iran" at the Pergamon Museum. Her recent works, including the performance "SIRENS," which premiered in 2023 at the Nuremberg State Theatre, have already been shown at festivals in Mongolia (Ulaanbaatar), Brussels and Berlin, and at Starptelpa performance festival in Latvia (Riga). In 2024, "SIRENS" was invited to China, where she also developed a research project funded by the Goethe Institute. She performed in the films "Notes of a Dreaming Caracal" in 2023, which screened at the Kunstmuseum Basel, and the film "Lamento" at SALTS Kunstgalerie. With her newly founded performance collective "Riccardo Moebius," she received a Flausen residency by Fonds DAKU. In January Llewellyn received the Malkowski Scholarship from the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich.
