Jimmy Belah is a member of the BIM collective “Benin International Musical,” where he sings, plays drums, folk guitar, and percussion. He is also the musical director.
With his impressive voice, genius drumming, and guitar playing, Jimmy is a one-man rhythm section, embodying Beninese polyrhythm at its best. An essential musician in his country, he has accompanied some of the biggest bands (Orchestre Poly-rythmo de Cotonou, Africando Allstars, Gnonnas Pedro, Sessimè). Jimmy Belah is the collective's co-musical director.
