Hemad Mansouri was born in 1988 in Abadan/Iran and has lived in Berlin since 2010. He had his f irst guitar lesson at the age of 8. He enjoyed excellent training in both classical and electric guitar. At the age of 12 he played his first public concert in Iran. This was followed by further performances with well-known Iranian music groups. Musically, Hemad is at home in various genres such as rock, pop, metal and flamenco, always trying to incorporate Iranian melodies and themes into his music. His music was mainly influenced by famous Western and Iranian guitarists such as John Petrucci, Joe Satriani and Armik.
