A visual artist trained at the Beaux-Arts and holder of a Master's degree in Art History and Theory, the Tunisian artist has developed an analytical and critical approach that enriches her pictorial practice.
Her work is part of a dynamic of abstraction where colour, matter and gesture convey personal emotions and impressions. Inspired by abstract expressionism and lyrical abstraction, she composes vibrant works in which the superimposition of pictorial layers and the intensity of the gesture create a sensory depth.
For the artist, painting is a form of visual writing: each trace, each texture constructs an immersive narrative that is both intimate and universal. Her exploration of the limits of the pictorial medium has led her to integrate new technologies into her creative process. Artificial intelligence and virtual reality do not replace painting, but extend it by opening up new perspectives. This dialogue between traditional and digital art invites us to question our perception of the image and push the boundaries of abstraction.
Residency project:
‘Sensory Painting: Between Tradition and Artificial Intelligence’ is an artistic research project that explores the interactions between abstract painting, new technologies and collective memory. Through this project, I seek to forge links between traditional artistic expression and emerging digital tools, particularly artificial intelligence and virtual reality, to offer an immersive and interactive pictorial experience.
