Residency project:

Traces of Ledoux's thoughts

"The work of French architect Claude-Nicolas Ledoux has captivated art historians, architects and urban planners since the French Revolution. It is clear that he was more than a visionary, utopian and radical neoclassicist. In the 1930s, Ledoux's designs inspired many projects on modernist abstraction in architecture.

My project aims to reveal Saline de Chaux, perhaps the most important of Ledoux's architectural works, a travelogue with a concentration of drawings on one of the most famous factory towns of its time, and with an analysis of Ledoux's own understanding and even his way of thinking."
