On the occasion of European Heritage Days, the ACCR is delighted to invite you to follow a sensory journey through the streets of Paris orchestrated by four artists who are laureates of the Nora residency programme.
In partnership with Baština Voyages and thanks to exceptional funding from the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation, the ACCR has launched a heritage walking tour created and led by four artists who have won the Nora residency programme: Mostafa Hazara, Afghan poet and researcher, Mahtab Ghorbani, Iranian poet and writer, Ali Jamshidifar, Iranian illustrator, cartoonist and graphic designer, and Hossein Rajabian, Iranian filmmaker, screenwriter and photographer. This stroll will allow you to rediscover Paris through anecdotes and an artistic lens. The walk will also be a special opportunity for participants and artists to exchange ideas, with everyone invited to contribute and share their impressions.
The walk, in French, will take place on Saturday the 20th and Sunday the 21st of September 2025 between 2.30pm and 5pm.
Due to the limited number of places per walk, registration is compulsory. It is free of charge. You can register by following this link.
The meeting point will be shared with you in a confirmation email once we have received your registration form.
This project is part of the ACCR's desire to strengthen its support for refugee artists beyond the duration of their residency. The aim is to accompany them in their professional and civic integration while strengthening the bonds within the community thus created. Based on this ambition, the ACCR will receive financial support from the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation in 2025 and 2026, enabling it to experiment with various approaches: promoting the circulation of Nora award winners within the network, commissioning works, offering artists opportunities to showcase and share their work, and creating links with professionals in the cultural and integration sectors (at an administrative level, language learning, understanding the legal context, etc.), or even helping with the translation of literary works.in the cultural and integration sectors (administrative level, language learning, understanding the legal context, etc.), and helping to translate literary works.
As a reminder, the Nora programme has been coordinated by the ACCR since 2016 and is aimed at refugee artists, researchers and cultural professionals who have recently arrived in exile in France.
