MOREUS

Re-use cases of heritage data-base.

MOREUS (MOnument RE-Use) is a database of members of the Cultural Centres/Historic Monuments network. Over time, it will include all the places of possible re-use. It lists all the re-use cases of architectural or natural spaces in Europe that have a cultural and artistic nature. MOREUS provides free access to the results of the first surveys that the network carried out on 100 cases of re-use in 12 European countries, within the framework of the European Commission Raphael programme. The MOREUS database has been developed as a dynamic (up to date), accessible (online) and sustainable information and research tool that complements the “Reviving Monuments” publication. MOREUS has become the living memory of the network. The members of the network and online users contribute to developing it and to enriching it with new cases of re-use.
